Nothing about motel 6. They did not have additional pillows!!!!!!!
I liked the free parking and the free wifi, but we could not use it, because we did not get the code, just one day later.
It was not clean, the guests were too noisy at night, and the hotel employee sat behind an armored window.
the wifi and the condition is not good.
The staff couldn,t not care less. The hallway and rooms smelled, it was greasy and sticky. The aircon didn,t work. People were dealing drugs in the parking lot. We left the next day and we were surpose to stay for three days. It is absolutly the worst place I have ever been in.
The price was reasonable and it was within walking distance (10+ minutes) from a metro station. I had very little notice about my travel and most things were already booked so was happy to find a room at the last minute.
The advertisement said it was recently renovated which it clearly was not. There were no screens on the windows, there were spiders and the furniture needs to be replaced. I was glad I brought my slippers so I didn't have to take off my shoes. My house is not fancy but it was nicer than this motel. This is way too much to pay for such a low- quality hotel.
Easy and quick check in and check out. Helpful directions and map to subway
No complimentary continental bk or coffee/tea setup in foyer in the A.M. for guests. That would have began the day on the positive.
The motel is in a great area very quite near the subway and restaurants
The Guy that worked at the front desk was rude and inconsistent
Unbelievable -- this place is a filthy flophouse. "Working girls" hanging out around the clock, and lots of other shady characters. It is pretty clear that many people are living there long-term, with entire families in one room. The common areas resemble a housing project. I regularly stay at budget motels and do not have high expectations, but this was shocking.
Rooms were clean, friendly staff, convenient location near Walter Reed Hospital, walk to metro bus stop or rail station.
Never got the "fax" from Booked.net so the rooms reserved were not available at 10pm when we arrived. The night manager worked on the problem for several hours and finally was able to accomadate our group.
Motel 6 is not fancy, but a very dependable in-expensive, safe, clean place to stay.
It was quite cheap. Free tea and coffee in the morning. Big supermarket nearby.
This was just too bad: 1. The hotel is on the busy road and windows are not blocking the noise. At 5 am you start waking up every 10 min because of trucks, er etc which are moving right under your window. 2. We had 4 people in the room, each day we had to go down to reception to get 4 towels instead of 2. Each day they removed 2 towels from the room. And they cannot bring you towels, You have to get them on your own. 3. Air conditioning is very noisy, cannot speel with it turned on.
i didn't like anything about this Motel.
I booked for two nights in Motel 6. After one night my 2 years old daughter, my sister and myself were bitten by bed bug all over our body. We even saw bed bug on the bed and we took a picture. We were so scared because we have 4 months baby with us. So next day customer service in motel told us they can't do anything except if we find another hotel then they would give us a refund. It was hard to find hotel for that night, we went all over Washington dc looking for hotel instead of our plan to hang out. Finally, ended up getting one in expensive one. Overall our Washington dc family tour was totally ruined by this Motel. I don't suggest this motel for anyone.
A really good location: 10 min to Takoma Park Metro train station + 15 min to the Metro Center, and a very nice surrounding: as if you were staying in a vilage. Friendly staff and big spacious clean rooms. We recommend it for buget trevellers
No drinking water in this motel. A small buffet would be useful
The hotel is inexpensive when compared to others, and reasonably close to the Metro rail line. However, it should be stressed that the walk to and from the Metro rail line could be dangerous, especially after dark. We were the victims of an attempted robbery. The responding officers also told us that there is some seedy activity at this particular hotel, although that did not affect our stay.
Best price for a two night stay.
The room felt dirty and was not a very comforting environment. Hardly worth the money.
